From September 2016 to August 2017 I was doing my EIT Digital Data Science Master specialization in Distributed Systems and Data Mining for Really Big Data at KTH. I wrote a master thesis about fraud detection using Big Data in collaboration with Qliro and a minor thesis about business regarding a competitive analysis of BI tools.
Sep 2016 - Aug 2017In May 2016, I started an Internship with Indizen as part of its Big Data department. I was involved in a project that consisted in analyzing geolocated social media data to detect news happening in real time and visualize them in a map of Barcelona. This data could be used to enhance newpapers teams in charge of detecting news. This project was developed in Python using Elasticsearch and Kibana in AWS.
May 2016 - Jun 2016In March 2016 I developed a Point of Sale sofware program for Vaciatucasa. This company needed a simple POS system to enable street market sells.
Mar 2016In September 2016, I started my Data Science master in Madrid as part of the EIT Digital double degree program. Here I took basic courses about data mining, machine learning and distributed systems. We also took introductory courses about Business Innovation and Entrepreneurship as part of my minor, which plays a very important role in EIT Digital master programs.
Sep 2015 - Jun 2016In May 2015 I started working at CRIDA as a developer in the context of Eurpean Air Trafic Control projects. I was in charge of designing ETL processes to load raw sources received daily into the company database. I also did data analysis and database maintenance. As a side project I created in Java a program that split audio files from airport control towers according to their silence gaps.
May 2015 - Jul 2015From September 2011 to July 2015 I was pursuing my Bachelor in Mathematics and Informatics. This program focused in the interrelationship between the two disciplines, giving the students the necessary tools to solve problems in multiple scientific, technological and business fields.
